Finding a way to relax maybe.

I have been doing some art as my hands and shoulders allow. You can see a good portion of it over at lunarosesartjournals.wordpress.com. I hope that works if not let me know..I don’t know how to do any of this. But I will share two of them here with you its called artjourneling I don’t even know if I am doing it right, but then I suppose there is no wrong way. I am enjoying myself I find it calming that should be all that matter rite…Both very different in look and feel but each so much fun

  1. Anything to take our minds off the pain we go through, is a win win in my book!! I think these are great! Have you ever thought of trying meditation and/or yoga to help with your pain? I have to say, it’s changed my life… Took me a few years to get it right and unfortunately I still suffer from pain BUT NOT LIKE I USED TO!! I no longer wake up and have to crawl to the bathroom. Don’t get me wrong, I wake up rigor every friggen day and it’s frustrating and painful as hell, but I make a point to meditate and do some arthritis yoga and it helps me tremendously. Dr. Cappy has arthritis videos right on line, if you’d like to check her out.

  2. Hi Mystical Luna Rose: Your art journals are lovely, seriously and I applaud you for rising above the pain and keeping your creative juices flowing. If there are rules about art journaling, then I don’t know of any. A journal is a place to go — a safe place — whether the need is for words alone, or words and glued images, or words and paint media — it doesn’t matter. What counts is that you did it probably on a day when you were in the most pain. As a person who lives with chronic pain, I say WELL DONE!

    • Thank You very much. I have very much tried to approached my art journals, with ‘there are no mistakes’. As that is the way we have to live our lives rite. We don’t get handed an issue and an eraser with the opptions to remove the issue. We have to work thru and that is what I am doing with my art journals. As well I am trying to allow that flow to leach into my everyday life. That is how I am going to have to learn to deal with my chronic pain syndromes as well. There are no mistakes, this is my life and I can learn to live with it, as it is a part of me. Easier written than done of this I am well aware of daily. One Journal at a time, one day at a time. It helps rite now and that is how I am getting thru.
